Getting to know more about Children’s Hospice South West

Children’s Hospice South West have been at WillowBrook for almost 6 months now, and we have thoroughly enjoyed finding pre-loved treasures with them.

Opening day back in September 2019

The exciting thing about the store is that every day there is something new, and if you keep an eye out you are bound to find a bargain.

One of the bargains we spotted recently – Tiffany & Co Perfume

As we enjoy browsing thought the store so much, we thought it would be interesting to find out a little more about what donations and sales mean to Children’s Hospice South West and the bigger picture.

Another recent find – The World Of Peter Rabbit 2002 Edition

At Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) they help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Every day is dedicated to making the most of every moment. Because life is unpredictable, they are available day and night, all year long – whenever they are needed.

Families come to the hospices for planned respite and a rare opportunity for a break, but they also turn to CHSW for emergency care and, when the time comes, for palliative and end-of-life care.

Their services are free to families who need them because they believe that nothing should get in the way of very sick children receiving the very best care. So, with little government funding, they rely on the generosity of supporters and donations to deliver their promise to ‘make the most of short and precious lives across the South West’.

CHSW recently had these Unused Cath Kidston Bags on sale

CHSW Bradley Stoke have recently received a huge amount of donations from the local community, which is great news!

When you are next at WillowBrook, why not pop in and have a browse. You never know what you might come across!
